The Mare is a sleek, timeless sofa that suits both modern and transitional interiors. René Holten's popular 2003 design has tightly upholstered cushions and slim, polished stainless steel legs that seamlessly flow into the frame structure. A distinctive, signature groove in the middle of the sofa elegantly divides the comfortable two seating sections and enhances the visual sophistication of the design. The Mare sofa is available with both thin and wide arms and can be specified in 2 seat, 2.2 seat, 2.5 seat, and 3 seat configurations. The Mare Loose Cushion sofa (2006) and expansive Mare modular designs (2008) build on and expand Holten's original design and reinforce its fundamental aesthetic and functional purity.
